India Women vs Thailand Women Highlights Asia Cup T20 2022 Semi Final.

In order to get to the tournament’s final in Sylhet, India defeated Thailand by a score of 74 runs thanks to three strikes from Deepti Sharma and two from Rajeshwari Gayakwad.

The Indian bowling unit put on an outstanding effort as it held Thailand to 74/9 and defeated the team by the same margin in the first semi-final of the Women’s Asia Cup 2022 on Thursday. Rajeshwari Gayakwad also picked up two wickets in the match, and Deepti Sharma scored three runs as she finished with outstanding numbers of 3/7.

Naruemol Chaiwai and Nattaya Boochatham both scored 21, which maintained the team’s highest individual scores. Shafali Verma’s 42 and Harmanpreet Kaur’s 36 helped India post 148/6 earlier in the game. The victor of the second semi-final between Sri Lanka and Pakistan will now play India.

Shafali Verma was named the player of the match. The Indian opener, who scored 42 off 28 deliveries and also took a wicket, has been named the player of the match.

This is what Harmanpreet said on the prospect of India facing Pakistan in the finals, “We batted really well, Thailand bowled quite well, not giving us easy runs. We really had to work hard. That partnership (between her and Jemimah) helped us to get a score on the board. When you’re not playing a lot, you need runs to get confidence.”

“She (Deepti) is someone who is willing to bowl at any stage. Having such a bowler always gives confidence. When you’re getting around 150 on the board more often than not, it gives confidence. Whoever makes it to the final, we’ll make plans.”

Congratulations to the whole team and here’s hoping we bring home the cup!
