Karthi’s next film ‘Sardar’ is gearing up for a grand Diwali release.
Karthi’s gripping portrayal as Vallavarayan Vandhiyathevan in Mani Ratnam’s “Ponniyin Selvan 1” is now receiving appreciation from fans and viewers. The movie, which also stars Vikram, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Jayam Ravi, is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s self-titled novel.
Sardar, Karthi’s upcoming movie, is getting ready for a big Diwali release. Red Giant Movies, the film’s distributor, formally confirmed today that Sardar, a spy action thriller, will be released on October 21. The producers intend to advertise Sardar in a manner akin to how the makers of “PS1” did with that movie. According to sources, the movie lasts for around 2 hours, 46 minutes.

Once Sardar passes the censoring procedure, the official censor and runtime reports will be released. Karthi, who plays the twin roles of Kathiravan IPS and Sardar Sakthi, Raashii Khanna, who plays a lawyer, Rajisha Vijayan, Chunky Pandey, Laila, Munishkanth, Sahana Vasudevan, Ilavarasu, Rithvik, and Yugi Sethu are all members of the ensemble cast.
PS Mithran directed the movie “Sardar,” which was made by Prince Pictures. George C. Williams and Ruben were in charge of the photography and editing, respectively. On the professional front, Karthi will begin filming his upcoming movie, “Japan,” which will be helmed by Raju Murugan and feature Rashmika Mandanna. He will begin development on the eagerly anticipated “Kaithi 2” the upcoming year.
