Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, one of the steadiest and longest-running couples in Bollywood are finally getting married!
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are a beloved couple shipped by many. Fans have been eager for them to get married ever since Ali proposed to Richa in 2019.
Well, the time that fans have been waiting for is finally here as the couple is all set to marry in the first week of October, most likely on the 4th or 6th of October! Even though both of them wanted to get married in 2020 itself the pandemic put a damper on their plans.
Pre-wedding festivities to begin on September 30th
According to Pinkvilla, the pre-wedding festivities will begin on September 30th. The Mehendi and Sangeet will take place on October 1st.
As per reports, one of the wedding festivities will be held at one of the most iconic locations in our country. The location is full of heritage and history as its a 110 years old. But no, it’s not a fort like Vic-kat’s wedding.
The location is the majestic Delhi Gymkhana, established in 1913 which is one of the oldest and most exclusive clubs in the country. The festivities will commence at the end of this month and conclude in Mumbai by the first week of October.
India Today reported that both actors will are wrapping up their shoots as the celebrations approach closer. Ali Fazal is Lucknow currently shooting for Mirzapur 3 and Richa Chadha is shooting for Heeramandi, a Sanjay Leela Bhansali feature.
As per Pinkvilla, they are aiming to finish all their work by September 24th – 26th to focus on their fairytale wedding. After celebrating in Delhi for 3 days, they are going to host a wedding party for friends and family and finally get married on 6th October in Mumbai in an intimate ceremony followed by a star-studded reception also in Mumbai for their BTown friends and acquaintances.
Ali and Richa first met on the sets of Fukrey in 2012 and reportedly started dating in 2014 or 2015. In 2019 on their Maldives holiday, Ali proposed to Richa on her birthday. The couple is loved as they always dish out couple goals on social media as well as in public.
