Vaathi starring Dhanush has a new release date!

Vaathi/Sir is directed by Telugu filmmaker Venky Atluri starring Dhanush.

Vaathi/Sir, a bilingual Tamil-Telugu film starring Dhanush, was initially scheduled for release on December 2. The release date has now been moved to February 17, 2023, according to the creators. Sithara Entertainments, which is producing the movie alongside Fortune Four Cinemas, has updated the release date on their social media accounts. Using a poster and the caption read,  “A slight delay but the wait is worth it. With renewed spirit, We will be bringing #Vaathi #SIRMovie to the theaters on 17 Feb 2023.”

Telugu director Venky Atluri is behind Vaathi/Sir. Dhanush plays Balamurgan, a teacher at a junior high school in the 1990s-set movie.

In addition to Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Aadukalam Naren, and Ilavarasu, Samyuktha Menon portrays the film’s female lead. J Yuvraj handled the cinematography, and GV Prakash Kumar handled the music.

Dhanush is now collaborating with director Arun Matheswaran on the historical action movie Captain Miller. Additionally, he has a movie deal with Sekhar Kammula, a Telugu filmmaker.

On November 10, 2022, the first single from the movie Vaathi was released. This Poetu Dhanush song was performed by Shweta Mohan. Many people now love this song, which has received a positive response from the audience.
