The makers of Kuttey announced a new release date today.

The movie “Kuttey,” starring Arjun Kapoor, now has a revised release date; it was first slated to open on November 4. The film has now been postponed to January 2023 after the original release date was missed. Confirming the information Arjun had posted, “Usher in the New Year with Kuttey, releasing in cinemas on 13th January, 2023.”

Aasmaan Bhardwaj, son of Vishal Bhardwaj, makes his directorial debut with “Kuttey,” which is billed as a dark comedy. In addition to Arjun, other leading actors in the film include Konkona Sen Sharma, Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu, Radhika Madan, Kumud Mishra, and Shardul Bharadwaj. The authors of “Kuttey,” Aasmaan and Vishal Bhardwaj, wrote the story. Vishal Bhardwaj wrote the music for the movie, and Gulzar, a longtime collaborator, wrote the lyrics.
Arjun had earlier this year announced the completion of filming on “Kuttey” and explained why the movie was so important to him. The actor had written, “Today, I’m 17 films old! It has been an exciting, enriching and humbling creative process that has allowed me to become so many characters and live so many lives! @aasmaanbhardwaj it’s been fun working with you and your entire team and seeing your brilliant mind from up close. I’m sure you will make a film that will wow everyone. Can’t wait for people to see the world that you have created. Films wrap, looks change (got rid of my Moustache I had for the film today) but the energy of a project remains deep inside you. #Kuttey will always remain special. On to the next one .”
