Virat Kohli is an undisputed superstar of Cricket with fans beyond borders. One such fan happens to be West Indies wicketkeeper Joshua Da Silva’s mother and so is Joshua Da Silva himself. Earlier in Day 1, Da Silva was over-heard by the stump mic wishing Virat Kohli the best for his 29th century on his 500th international game. “Get your 100, Virat,” he said. To this, Kohli replied: “You’re obsessed with my milestones?!” and Da Silva replied: “I know I am, I want you to get your 100.
He was also heard saying Kohli about his mother coming to watch the game at the Queen’s Park Oval especially to watch him bat. “My mom called me and told me she’s coming to watch the match for Virat Kohli, I couldn’t believe it,” Da Silva said. Later, his mother finally got her chance to meet the former Indian skipper and embrace him. She also kissed him on his cheeks and the duo shared a small conversation. They click a few pictures and after another hug, she went on her way as Kohli started to attend to other fans.
