Ali Sethi, a popular Pakistani singer who achieved fame and new heights in his career with the chartbuster song Pasoori in 2022, was all over social media yesterday due to his claimed marriage rumours. Unconfirmed sources claim that the singer married Salman Toor, his childhood friend. The artist became the top trend on social media as a result of the news’s widespread outrage and collective meltdown.
According to some sources, Sethi tied the knot with his lifelong friend Salman in a private ceremony in New York. Additionally, it stated that they had been secretly dating for some time. At Aitchison College in Lahore, where they both attended college, Sethi and Salman Toor first crossed paths in an art class. Toor, a well-known artist, was born in Lahore but spent most of his time in New York. Sethi also moved from Pakistan to New York for some personal reasons and to make his career in music.
Pasoori was remade by T-Series in Satyaprem Ki Katha
The 2022 track, Pasoori by Sethi and Shae Gill, is highly praised for fusing India and Pakistan. It later developed into one of the most unorthodox global hits. Due to its catchy beat, the song from the 14th season of Coke Studio quickly gained popularity. Within a week of its release, Pasoori, which means “difficult mess,” in English was played all over the world and reached the top of the charts.
The talented singer has also performed Left Right, Chandni Raat, Chan Kithan, and Dil Ki Khair, among other songs. However, the song Pasoori was recently included in the Hindi movie Satyaprem Ki Katha starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani and the song was made available in Hindi. Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar sang the song under the title Pasoori Nu produced by T-series.
