Padikkal back in training after beating Covid

Devdutt Padikkal came into his own after a series of sterling performances in IPL 2020.

The 20-year-old left-handed batsman was the top run-scorer FOR RCB with 473 runs from 15 games.

Averaging 31.53, his tally in his debut season included five half-centuries at a strike rate of 124.80.

Based on this, one can safely say that he is one of the key players for the Virat Kohli-led franchise.

That’s why, it came as a rude shock for RCB fans when he tested positive on March 22.

Padikkal went into home quarantine for 2 weeks as per the BCCI protocol.

Thankfully, he tested negative and has joined the RCB camp in Chennai.

Padikkal thanked fans for their prayers and support.

This is welcome news not just for RCB fans but also for Indian cricket as Padikkal is a huge talent.
