India (IND) will be taking on England (ENG) in the fourth Test of the series at JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi. The match is set to take place from the 23rd to the 27th of February. The pitch for the match is prepared and England announced it’s playing XI for the match. It will be a must-win game for England to stay alive in the series, as India currently has a lead of 2-1 in the series with two games to go.

England have a lot to worry about. The biggest concern for them is the lack of runs outside of the opening duo. The likes of Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root have not even scored a single fifty in the series. Ollie Pope and Ben Stokes have been inconsistent in the middle after the first Test. Their bowlers need to step up in the big match and claim wickets in what seems to be a rank turner on offer. Ben Foakes needs to add some runs with the bat.

India have fewer things to worry about compared to England. But they will not be without worries either. Rajat Patidar has struggled to make an impact with the bat since his debut. Ravichandran Ashwin is yet to deliver a match-winning performance with the ball. In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, Indian bowlers are likely to be put under Test. It is likely to be a game of spinners. The pacers will come in handy with the old ball where reverse swing comes into play. Teams winning the toss would bat first. The Pacers might get some swing early in the innings. Aggression with the bat could work in the favor of the batters given the nature of the wicket. Bowlers need not be fancy and just bowl at good lengths.
