Imran Khan narrates incident when a fan asked him to park his car

Former Bollywood actor Imran Khan has narrated a weird fan encounter story. During his career, he was one of the favorite actors of teenagers during the late 2000s and early 2010s. However, he trajectory of his career went downhill in the mid-2010 and eventually, faded away. Meanwhile, last month, he was one of the guests who were present at Ira Khan, his cousin’s wedding.

During the event, he narrated a story about a fan encounter, he said that a female fan asked him to park his car. At that point, the same person and two other women didn’t even recognize him in London and were more concerned about the car getting parked properly. However, after a while, as narrated by Khan, the girls recognized him.

Imran, who was recently seen at cousin Ira Khan’s wedding said, “I was walking down a street in London and I could see this car going back and forth and back and forth, trying to parallel park. Door opens and this girl charges out,

‘Can you please help me park my car?’ I take the keys from her and as I am getting in, there is another girl in the passenger seat, who gets out.”

Further narrating the episode, an amused Imran said, “All of that is happening while I back the car into its spot and I get out and she’s like ‘Thank you. Thank you… are you?’ and I said, ‘yes’ and she goes, ‘oh my God, Oh my God it’s you’.”

After his career as an actor came to a close, he was in a bad mental space. Speaking about the same, he said that after the birth of his daughter, he wanted to be the best version for his child.

“I had recently become a father and thought, ‘This is valuable. This is something I take seriously.’ I wanted to be the best version of myself for Imara.” And this made him realise his actual goal in life. “I decided it was no longer my job to be an actor. Now, I had to fix myself; be at my healthiest and strongest for my daughter,” said the actor.

“As you can see, there were police and commandos with us. It’s not that we’ve done anything wrong. This was personal. He took a personal dig at me; I went and slapped him. I don’t have any regrets. Aisa hi hoon main (I am like this only). He hurled abuses, and I reacted in my style,” he added.

Renowned filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, director of the acclaimed film “12th Fail,” recently praised Rajkumar Hirani. He has revealed that the inspiration for adapting Manoj Sharma’s book, “Twelfth Fail,” into a cinematic masterpiece came from none other than Hirani. According to a statement by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani not only suggested the book’s potential for a film but also recommended the talented Vikrant Massey for the lead role.

In a recent event celebrating the film’s 100-day milestone, Vidhu Vinod Chopra shared insights into the project’s inception. He revealed that Manoj Sharma approached him with the book and sought his endorsement. Pleased with the recommendation from Rajkumar Hirani and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, Chopra explored the idea of transforming the book into a film. However, given Hirani’s busy schedule, Vidhu took the directorial reins himself.

“Manoj Sharma (on whom the film is based) came to me with the book (Twelfth Fail) and requested a blurb in the book. I saw book ke peeche (backside) by Raju Hirani and Sachin Tendulkar ne taarif ki hai (praised it),” he said.

The film sheds light on his struggles and success, with a focus on the pivotal role played by his wife, IRS officer Shraddha Joshi, portrayed by Medha Shankar. Vikrant Massey’s portrayal of Manoj Kumar Sharma received accolades, and the film hit theatres on October 27, 2023.

The movie has garnered widespread acclaim, with praise pouring in from industry stalwarts such as Kareena Kapoor, Kamal Haasan, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Vicky Kaushal, Rishabh Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Farhan Akhtar, and Anil Kapoor.
