Former India captain Virat Kohli made arrow wielding gesture after hearing ‘Ram Siya Ram’ song in the Cape Town Test 2024 against South Africa. The gesture of Virat has gone viral on the internet as the fans are sharing the same on different handles on social media. It was observed by the fans who started to share the same on X. Virat was happy soon after hearing the popular song.

During the match, India was in precedence after having reduced South Africa to 34/6 at one stage. Mohammad Siraj was on fire with the ball who had claimed 4 wickets till that point. Jasprit Bumrah and Mukesh Kumar were equally brilliant as well. When the 6th wicket fell down, Keshav Maharaj came into bat. That was when the song was played in the stadium.

As ‘Ram Siya Ram’ was played in the stadium, Virat looked enthralled and grooved to the song. It is a song from the Indian movie named ‘Adipurush’ which was released in 2023. Even in the past, the song was played in several matches. The song was played in the Asia Cup 2023 match between India and Pakistan. It was also played in the India vs SL game in the ODI World Cup 2023.

The day and the Test match have been dominated by the Indian team so far. By the end of the first session, India dismissed the home side for a total of just 55 runs in 23.2 overs. The brilliant spell from Siraj helped India to restrict SA to a paltry score. After the lunch break, the batters have managed to keep India in the contest by gaining a lead already.

For India, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill batted well when they were in the middle. Although they could not convert their starts to big scores, they made sure that India marched ahead in the game at a quick rate with their aggressive knocks.
