Babar Azam opens up on losing to Zimbabwe in T20 World Cup 2022
Babar Azam has opened up about Pakistan’s loss against Zimbabwe in the T20 WC 2022. The star batter answered some of the questions asked to him by the fans in a recent interaction on Q & A session on X. Babar was asked to take a stand on some of the controversial topics.
When asked about his opinion on the loss against Zimbabwe, the former Pakistan skipper felt that it was a sad day for the team players. The star batter claimed that he got emotional after the loss. The experienced batter felt that it was a heartbreaking moment for him.
“We lost to Zimbabwe in T20 World Cup 2022, and it was a very sad day for us. I got emotional and it was very heartbreaking for me,” said Babar when asked about the loss. Pakistan had lost the match by just three runs and faced a huge embarrassment. The fans were angry with the loss.
Babar Azam makes his choice between IPL and PSL
Babar was further asked by a user to pick one between the Indian Premier League and the Pakistan Premier League. The top-order batter claimed the PSL to be better than the IPL. Azam claimed the PSL to be the best league in the world. The opinion of the star batter has raised eyebrows among the fans online.
While some fans, mainly those from Pakistan, have agreed with the opinion of the Pakistan batter, others think that the IPL is a better league than the PSL. In another question, Babar was asked to pick one batter from South Africa he would love to play with.
Babar revealed that batting with Ab De Villiers would be his dream. In the past, Babar got an opportunity to play against Ab De Villiers. In the PSL and while playing for Pakistan, Babar has played against De Villiers. However, Azam has never been a teammate of the former SA legend. The fans felt that watching the duo bat together would have been great.
