India won the 2nd Test against England at Vizag to level the series 1-1. With the big win, India now has a good opportunity to continue their momentum and claim the series. Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Jasprit Bumrah starred in India’s win against England, which helped them to move to the second spot in the 3rd cycle of the WTC. Australia is currently at the top of the table despite losing the Gabba Test against the West Indies.

The third Test of the series is set to take place at Rajkot from the 15th to the 19th of February. The Indian squad for the last three Tests of the series is yet to be announced. There is doubt over the participation of Virat Kohli in the remainder of the series. However, the Indian Cricket Board is set to talk with the star player regarding the same. Following the discussion, there could be the announcement of the Indian squad for the rest of the series.

India is unlikely to have any change in the third Test, given the time they must recover before the match. In the win against England, the Indian captain Rohit Sharma climbed up the ladder in a peculiar record. Rohit is inching closer towards being a part of 300 or more wins for India as a player. He is now among the top 5 players in the list of Indians being part of the most international wins.
