Riding on a half-century from opener Mark Deyal Trinbago, Trinbago chased 168 runs comfortably in 18.5 overs. However, Saint Lucia’s spinner, Peter Hatzoglou, takes three beautiful catches but fails to win the game for his team.

Due to his outstanding efforts at boundary ropes, fans and cricket pundits praised him on social media. A video of him taking a nail-biting catch at boundary ropes left fans in splits. Hatzoglou took a diving catch at the boundary ropes, and before touching it, he tossed up the ball and caught it again in a comfortable position. His efforts dismissed Trinbago’s highest run scorer, Mark Deyal.

It is worth noting that despite his heroic efforts, SLK failed to hold his nerve and lost the game. For Trinbago, Deyal scored 57 runs off 45 balls with the help of six fours and two sixes. Apart from him, wicketkeeper-batter Lorcan Tucker scored an unbeatable 38 runs off 31 balls to win the game for Trinbago. Meanwhile, Hatzoglou took all three catches from Trinbago batters with his amazing efforts.

Colin Munro led the game for the Saint Lucia Kings

Earlier, after winning the toss, TKR skipper Kieron Pollard opted to bowl first. His decision didn’t go well with the team, as SLK opener Colin Munro hammered a beautiful half-century. Munro, in his innings, scored an unbeatable 72 runs off 51 balls with the help of six fours and three sixes. He was well supported by Roston Chase and Sean Williams, who produced a brilliant partnership of 58 runs for the fourth wicket.

Williams, in his innings, scored an unbeaten 34 runs off 17 balls with the help of four fours and a six. Meanwhile, Chase scored 32 runs off 31 balls with the help of three fours and a six.
