Josh Hazlewood brought a unique celebration with covid-struck Cameron Green in the 2nd Test. The tall pacer claimed the wicket of Kraigg Brathwaite in the first session and gave the early lead for Australia in the match. In the process, Josh helped the home side to get the big wicket of the opposition skipper. The celebration of Josh with Green was unique.

The Australian star Rounder was reported to have tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week. As a result, Cameron Green was seen socially distancing himself from his teammates during the national anthem session before the match. As a result, Green was avoided by the Australian players during the match rightfully. The celebration of Kraigg’s wicket was more of a result of it.

Watch the video of the celebration here:

Hazlewood delivered a very good ball which caught the edge of Brathwaite’s willow. The ball went straight to the keeper’s gloves and Alex Carey made no mistakes. After the wicket, Josh celebrated with every fielder by clapping their hands. As Green tested positive, Hazlewood gave a fist bump to Green in the air and signalled the move to stay away from his teammate as a measure of safety.

Australia continue to dominate in the Pink Ball Test

Australia have reduced West Indies to 130/5 at the end of the 47th over. The bowling of Australia has been very good despite the comeback of the West Indies in the match. After having the WI at 65/5 at the end of the first session, the duo of Greaves and Joshua Da Silva have added 65 more runs since then. Although the West Indies have recovered well, Australia has dominated the game.

Mitchell Starc has been the pick of the bowlers, he has claimed three wickets in his spell of 11 overs. Josh and Pat Cummins have claimed a wicket each to help Australia’s cause. For the visiting side, the key would be to witness a flourish in the ongoing partnership between Da Silva and Greaves. Australia would love to dismiss the partnership which has lasted a bit longer than anticipated.
