Twitter user insults Amitabh, calls him ‘Buddhe’

Published

on

Amitabh Bachchan is one of the greatest Bollywood legends.

He is also very active on social media and has a huge number of followers on Twitter and Facebook.

He actively posts on these platforms and his fans respond immediately, leading to very high engagement.

But sometimes, things can take a very nasty turn.

On Sunday, Bachchan posted in Hindi, “A good morning to you.”

However, it was 11:30 when he shared this.

So his fans began to troll him.

One wrote sarcastically in Hindi, “Don’t you think you wished good morning too soon?”

To this, Bachchan replied, “Grateful for the taunt. Was working the whole night and woke up late so sent wishes. I am sorry if you felt hurt.”

This further inflamed some of the fans.

One vicious fan wrote – “Abey Buddhe dopahar ho gaye (Old man, it’s afternoon).”

Despite this blatant insult, the actor replied with great wit and dignity – “I pray to god that nobody insults you when you grow old.”

This reply got a huge of likes.

It was a fitting reply but more importantly, we hope that fans don’t disrespect the legend.

We have seen many instances where stars shut down their social media accounts due to constant abuse.

If that happens, it would be a big loss even to the genuine fans.
