Welcome 3: Embarking on a jungle comedy adventure for Christmas 2024
Welcome, the first movie in the wildly popular comedy film series, debuted on Christmas Day 2007 and starred Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal, and Feroz Khan in the key roles. Aneez Bazmee was the director of the movie, which went on to become one of the most successful releases of the year.
Welcome Back was the subtitle of the sequel Welcome 2. The movie, which had John Abraham and Shruti Haasan as its main actors, also included Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Shiney Ahuja, Ankita Shrivastava, Dimple Kapadia, Paresh Rawal, and Naseeruddin Shah in its ensemble cast. The movie was once again directed by Aneez Bazmee and went on to become a huge hit at the box office.
According to reports, Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor won’t return as the beloved characters Uday and Majnu in Welcome 3. Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt, the Munnabhai team, will reportedly take the role of the film’s iconic characters.
Jacqueline Fernandez and Disha Patani are among the latest cast members, who join Akshay Kumar as the movie’s star. A new character will reportedly be introduced in Welcome 3 by Suniel Shetty, who co-starred with Akshay in the comedy film series Hera Pheri.
As per the insider, Welcome to the Jungle will be a unique adventure comedy. It’s a comedy with a rainforest setting. The goal is to produce a unique adventure comedy that ups the ante on the first two instalments, according to a report in Pinkvilla. The movie will be released in theatres on Christmas 2024, but filming has not yet begun.
