‘The best part was…’ – Sunny Leone opens up on her stint in adult entertainment industry, talks about ‘Dharmas and YRFs’ of adult film industry
Bollywood actress Sunny Leone is preparing for the release of her much-awaited movie Kennedy directed by Anurag Kashyap. The movie already premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival where it received a 7-minute standing ovation. It won’t be wrong to say that this is Sunny’s one of the most significant projects ever in her career. She also has big expectations from the movie after several failures from her past projects.
Meanwhile, the actress recently opened up on her stint with the adult film industry in the West and revealed that the best of his adult entertainment career was that she worked with the best professional companies. She compared them with two of the biggest Bollywood production house, Yashraj Films (YRF) and Dharma Productions.
“The best part (of my adult film career) was that I worked with the best of the best companies. When I mean the best, I can only compare it to the Dharmas and the Yash Rajs here. It was Vivid, it was Penthouse. And that’s just something that materialised as time went by. I read every contract. So that the companies that were hiring me got what they wanted, and I got what I wanted. I made sure that I was never being taken advantage of,” Sunny was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
I have always had to work twice: Sunny Leone
She further added on the topic and said that she might not have made the progress which other adult actors made. Sunny said that she was cautious due to which she had to work at a slow pace as compared to others.
“Maybe seeing some other girls’ success and how fast it worked and I had to work harder because I worked at a very slow pace and I wasn’t into some of the things that were happening around me or that wasn’t the step I wanted to take at that moment. But that has been my entire life. I have always had to work twice or thrice as hard. It gets there, where I want it to, but it just takes time. Even now,” she added.
