In the video, the Uttar Pradesh pacer’s recent liked posts were displayed. All the posts liked by Mavi were of women. It sparked a burst from fans who judged the choice of Mavi. The pacer liked the posts of various women who had posted their images online on X. Some of these users were popular celebrities and some others are relatively unknown to common people.

Shivam Mavi finds new home in IPL

Meanwhile, Mavi found a new home in the IPL. In the IPL auction 2024, the pace bowler was picked by Lucknow Super Giants. It will be the third franchise of Mavi in his IPL career. The young pacer has previously played for KKR and Gujarat Titans. Although Mavi did not get to play in GT, he was a key part of KKR that succeeded in the IPL 2021 where they reached the final.

Ahead of the IPL 2024, LSG seems to have got a good pacer. They released some players in an attempt to get some better ones. With Naveen-ul-Haq not available for the IPL 2024 due to the NOC, LSG might need someone as a backup for Mark Wood.
