After losing the 5-match T20I series against West Indies, India are set to tour Ireland for a 3-match T20I series. In this tour, the team’s star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will make his return to the team after almost a year and will also take charge of the team. Bumrah played his last match in September 2022.

Meanwhile, Bumrah shared a picture on social media, in which he can be seen sitting inside a plane and taking off for a tour of Ireland. The image went viral on social media as fans were waiting for Bumrah’s return for a long time and now that moment has come. Bumrah’s return is a big relief for the Indian team before the Asia Cup and World Cup 2023.

A three-match T20 series will be played on the tour of Ireland, whose first match will be on August 18, Friday. After this, the second match will be played on August 20 and the third and last on August 23, Wednesday. All three matches will be played at The Village, Dublin.

Bumrah also played some practice matches after completing his rehab at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), where he bowled to some quality batters. Now it is expected that from the tour of Ireland, he will be able to achieve the rhythm for the Asia Cup 2023. Apart from Bumrah, young fast bowler, Prasidh Krishna will also make his return. Krishna was also struggling with a back injury for a long time.

The Indian Cricket Board also posted several images at the same moment, in which Rinku Singh, Washington Sundar, and Shivam Dubey could be seen.
