According to reports published in a top newspaper, Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma, had a plan to build a cricket pitch at their ultra-expensive farmhouse. The farmhouse is being constructed on a piece of land measuring 8.5 acres.

Speaking about the same, Kohli said, “Bachpan se jo akhbaar Padha hai, wo bhi fake news chaapne lage ab (The newspaper that we have been reading since childhood is also publishing fake news these days).” It’s worth noting that he shared pictures of the news report and quashed it with a blistering response.

In response to reports indicating his earnings of approximately INR 11 crore per promotional post on Instagram, Kohli Clarified the situation. He stated, “I am thankful for everything I’ve received, but the circulating news regarding my social media earnings is false.”

While Virat Kohli prepares for the upcoming ODI Asia Cup, the 34-year-old cricket star remains active in his professional endeavours. Notably, in his prior white-ball engagement against the West Indies in the Caribbean, the prolific run-scorer did not participate in batting duties for Team India. He, along with skipper Rohit Sharma, is set to visit NCA by the last week of August to prepare for the Asia Cup and World Cup 2023.
