A video of former India skipper MS Dhoni signing autographs for toddlers has been going viral. By the looks of it, the video was shot after the Raksha Bandhan celebration on August 30 night.

Meanwhile, since the IPL 2023, Dhoni has been out of action. After all, he retired from international on 15 August 2020. Since then, the Ranchi-born only plays for Chennai Super Kings every year. “Looking for an answer? Circumstantially if you see this is the best time for me to announce retirement. But the amount of love and affection that I have been shown, wherever I have been this year…I think the easy thing for me to say would be to say ‘Thank you very much’, but the tough thing for me would to work hard for nine months and come back and play at least one more season of IPL. But a lot depends on the body. It would take 6-7 months to decide. It will be more like a gift from my side. It’s not easy for me but the way they have shown their love and affection, that’s something that I need to do,” he said at the post-match presentation.
MS Dhoni had a successful surgery: CSK CEO
After the 16th season of the cash-rich league, the three-time World Champion went through a successful knee surgery. If everything goes fine, he might play another year when the Yellow Brigade tries to defend their title next year.
“Yes, Dhoni has had a successful knee surgery at the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai on Thursday. He is doing fine and the surgery happened in the morning. I don’t have details. I am yet to get all the details about the nature of surgery and other things,” said Kasi.
