India will host the 2023 Men’s ODI Cricket World Cup from October 5 to November 19, 2023. The overall number of teams competing in the next World Cup is 10. In addition to Afghanistan, Australia, England, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Pakistan, and South Africa, India, the host country, has earned direct qualification.
Meanwhile, the Apex Cricket Body has released a promo for the upcoming grand event which also features Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The 2 minutes and 13 seconds long promo consists of a glimpse of some fans of all the participating countries. However, the appearance of Shah Rukh in the promo makes it more epic.

It is known that Shah Rukh is a big cricket enthusiast as he was seen attending some matches of the Indian team many times. Apart from that, he also owns a franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL) which goes by the name Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Talking about the World Cup, the first match of the tournament will be played between the 2019 finalists England and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. While the most awaited contest between the arch-rivals Indian and Pakistan will be played on October 15 at the same stadium in Ahmedabad.
The Indian cricket board secretary Jai Shah also talked about the upcoming ODI World Cup and expressed his excitement about it. He said that the tournament holds an unparalleled significance which will definitely entertain the fans globally.
