WATCH: Scintillating laser show marks inauguration of PSL 2024

Pakistan Super League 2024 has started on a fantastic note. The inaugural ceremony of the league lived up to the expectations of the fans. There were laser shows and fireworks which caught the attention of the fans. The output of the show was amazing as the fans loved it totally. There were some artists who performed to entertain the fans in the stadium. 

The inaugural ceremony of the 2024 edition of the PSL took place at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Gates opened for the fans at 3:30 PM and the inaugural ceremony began at 6:30 PM. Many popular artists from Asia entertained the fans with their musical performances. The likes of Ali Zafar, Aima Baig, Noori, Arif Lohar, Leo Twins and Natasha Baig performed at Lahore.

The tournament will feature some of the biggest stars in the world. Many of them are from Pakistan like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Hasan Ali, Shan Masood, Iftikhar Ahmed, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, and others. There are some exciting talents to watch out for. Some of them took part in the Under 19 WC 2024. The aim of the league is to churn out talent. 

Lahore Qalandars vs Islamabad United in season opener

During the single headers, the matches are set to begin at 8:00 PM in the night. On doubleheaders, the afternoon matches will begin at 2:00 PM and the night matches will start at 7:00 PM. Lahore Qalandars, led by Shaheen Afridi will take on Shadab Khan’s Islamabad United in the inaugural match of the season at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The match is set to begin after the inaugural ceremony. 

The live streaming of the tournament will be available for Indian users on the Fancode app. Being considered one of the best T20 leagues in the world, PSL will be relevant this time since the players for Pakistan’s squad in the T20 WC 2024 are likely to be selected based on their performances in the league. Bowlers will have a test of time due to the nature of the wickets.
