Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza

Former Pakistan Cricket Team skipper Shoaib Malik and Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza got married back in 2010, inviting criticism from fans from both countries given the geo-political tension between the two nations. The duo married for love and invited their son ‘Izhaan’ to the world in 2018 after eight years of marriage. However, since last year, speculations on the two getting divorced are fuelling up due to a reported rift between the two.

In a recent update, Shoaib Malik modified his Instagram bio by removing the phrase, ‘Husband to a Superwoman – Sania Mirza.’ This sparked reactions all over social media with the word ‘divorce’ being tossed in the air by fans. The rumours first started when fans speculated that Malik had cheated on Sania with Pakistani model and actress Ayesha Omar. The duo was involved in a photoshoot where they were seen very close to each other. However, Ayesha later clarified everything and maintained that there was nothing between the two.

Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik recently appeared in an OTT show

In a recent interaction with Geo News, Malik was asked about his troubled marriage. However, Malik denied the claims saying these were mere rumours. In fact, he wanted to spend time with Sania on Eid but could not due to professional commitments. He said, “Nothing on it. On Eid I would like to say that had we been together it would have been great. But she has got commitments in IPL. She is doing shows in IPL. That’s why we are not together. We share love like always. I miss her a lot, that I can say. When Sania and Izhan went to perform Umrah I had commitments here, and when I took a break and went to Dubai to spend time with Izhaan.”

Notably, Sania Mirza was recently appointed as the Mentor of Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Women’s Team in the Women’s Premier League 2023. While the reported rift between her and her husband started in 2022, the power couple also appeared on a Pakistani OTT platform to co-host a show called ‘The Mirza and Malik Show’.

Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli’s childhood coach, Rajkumar Sharma, has confirmed that Kohli, wife Anushka Sharma, and their children, Vamika and Akaay, plan to relocate to London. Sharma revealed that the cricketer envisions settling in the UK post-retirement. Virat Kohli frequently visits London, where their son Akaay was born earlier this year on February 15.

The couple owns property in London, where they are expected to reside after the move. “Yes, Virat plans to move to London with his family soon. However, he is currently focused on cricket and spending time with his family,” Sharma stated.

Kohli has balanced cricket commitments and family time this year. After the birth of his son, he returned to India following the T20 World Cup in June and played series against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Currently participating in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia, his next major assignment is the Champions Trophy, followed by IPL 2025.

Despite a dip in form during recent matches against Australia, Sharma expressed confidence in Kohli’s ability to deliver. “Virat scored a brilliant century in Perth and will bounce back in the Boxing Day and Sydney Tests,” Sharma said.

Regarding Kohli’s career longevity, Sharma dismissed retirement rumors. “Virat is fit and will continue playing for at least five more years. He will likely participate in the 2027 World Cup in South Africa,” he added. Sharma emphasized Kohli’s passion for cricket and his ability to perform under pressure.

As Kohli continues to shine on the field, his potential relocation marks a new chapter for the cricket icon and his family.
