Here are the complete details for BGMS Season 2 Playoffs including updated match results and overall standings

The ongoing Battlegrounds Mobile India Master Series (BGMS) season is getting into its final stages as the playoffs are set to be played on Tuesday, August 22. 16 teams will be clashing against each other to avoid the bottom 4 in the points table as only the top 12 teams will qualify for the finals. The playoffs will be for 2 days only and 3 matches will be played on each day.

The top 12 teams will play the final along with the 4 teams which have already qualified with the help of the points they collected through Super Weekends and the launch event. Blind Esports, Global Esports, Insane Esports and Marcos Gaming are the 4 teams who have made it to the finals already.  

There are multiple teams who are the top contenders to qualify for the Grand Finals. The fan-favourite, Team Soul is the most-talked-about team of the tournament. They are not in their prime form but they will surely look to perform well on the first day of the playoffs. Apart from them, Gladiator Esports, who recently won multiple unofficial tournaments recently, will be eyeing a spot in the finals. Team XSpark who failed to qualify for BGIS will be trying to qualify with some good points.

Playoffs Day 1 schedule, timings and where to watch:

The first day of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series Season 2 playoffs will be live-streamed on Star Sports (Television ) and Rooter (OTT) at 9:30 PM on Monday. Check out the map schedule for the day:

  1. Game 1 – 9:50 PM (Erangel)
  2. Game 2 – 10:30 PM (Sanhok)

The second day of the ongoing Battlegrounds Mobile India Master Series (BGMS) season 2 was filled with 3 exciting matches. After a thrilling Day 1 of the tournament, all the teams played against each other once again and provided a much-needed dose of entertainment to all the BGMI fans in India

Talking about the overall rankings, Orange Rock (OR) Esports are at the top position with 75 points in 5 matches followed by Enigma Gaming who have 57 points in 5 matches. The 3rd place is acquired by Revenant Esports with 54 points in 5 matches. Team XSpark are in 4th position with 51 points in 5 matches. However, Team Soul are the only team in the top 5 who have played only 3 matches till now and have earned 47 points.

Match 1, Group B vs C (Erangel)

The first match of the 2nd day was played between groups B and C on the map of Erangel. Medal Esports secured the first Winner Winner Chicken Dinner of Day 2 after they defeated Lucknow Giants in the final intense fight of the game. With 15 placement points and 9 finishes, they acquired a total of 24 points and the 1st position as well. 

Match 2, Group B vs C (Sanhok)

OR Esports finally got their first Chicken dinner of the tournament after finishing 2nd in the first two matches of Day 1. They defeated Team Soul in the last fight and took the Chicken dinner with a total number of 21 points which included 15 placement points and 6 finish points. Team Soul also displayed a decent performance and got 18 points with 6 finishes after ending on the 2nd position.

Match 3, Group A vs B (Miramar)

The last day of the match was played on the deserts of Miramar where the veteran players of Enigma Gaming displayed a brilliant performance and took a Chicken dinner with 10 finishes. They got rid of Entity Gaming and Team XSpark in the final stages of the match and acquired the top spot. 

The action will get continue on Day 3 where group C will play all the 3 matches of the day which means the fan-favourite team ‘Team Soul’ will be in back-to-back action.
