Exclusive! Dream Girl 2 actress Anusha Mishra opens up about online addiction

Dream Girl 2

Everybody now has opportunities thanks to YouTube. Many people have started vlogging and are making good money on the internet. The platform’s addiction, however, is also genuine and does negatively impact our physical and emotional health. Anusha Mishra, an actress who debuted on television with Tera Kya Hoga Alia and launched her Bollywood career with Dream Girl 2, offers her opinion on the matter.

The actress adds, “It becomes challenging since you want to keep watching because you receive both amusement and the chance to learn something new. But if you have the time, it’s also enjoyable. And if you don’t have the time but are still doing it, you’re just postponing, which is something I do a lot of.”

Dream Girl 2 fame Sakina aka Anusha Mishra:

She further says, “Every addiction requires a specific approach to control. It needs to be restricted gradually, and I believe I do that, and I’m doing pretty well. How can I set a time limit for watching YouTube? I reassure myself that you can still play it in the background while you do other things if you subscribe to YouTube’s premium version. I consume a lot of podcasts as well. I enjoy listening to Bailey Sarian’s murder and mystery podcast when I do my chores or when I’m writing. It’s not always just viewing.”

Anusha says of the media she prefers to watch, “The media I prefer is the Graham Norton Show. It’s also one of my favourite programmes. You can tell it’s a talk programme because celebrities frequently appear on it. I enjoy watching celebrity interviews, but Lilly Singh is another favourite. Another programme I enjoy watching is Hot Ones when famous people eat extremely hot chicken wings and respond to questions. I primarily listen to music or I’m usually learning a new recipe. I enjoy learning Korean, and I use one or two channels to do so. YouTube is instantly accessed on mobile devices, making it even easier to watch from anywhere.”

The actress concludes by saying, “Even when using Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, or any social media platform, you need to be mindful of your actions because these platforms have the potential to detach you from reality. It helps because dealing with reality can be challenging at times. But if you change and find a way to lose yourself in something fascinating, it gets difficult to stop, just as with literature.”
