The Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone is the highest-paid actress in India and is renowned for her exceptional acting skills and gorgeous looks. Deepika Padukone marked her Hollywood debut exceedingly well as she co-starred with Vin Diesel. Deepika Padukone was rumoured to be dating Novak Djokovic in 2015.
However, once a British tabloid magazine failed to recognise her as she was out for a dinner getaway with the tennis champion player Novak Djokovic in 2015. The tabloid made headlines as they referred to Deepika Padukone as an ordinary ‘female companion’.
Notably, Deepika Padukone has been friends with Novak Djokovic’s wife, Jelena. The duo were seen attending the Wimbledon tournament’s final game of 2015 together, wherein Djokovic successfully defeated Roger Federer to lift the title of the marquee championship.
Novak Djokovic’s ex-girlfriend Natasa Bekvala has recently made claims that Novak and Deepika Padukone were involved in a secret relationship that was hidden from the press and the entire world. Natasa Bekvala also revealed that Djokovic was happy to have continued dating Deepika at that time.
However, her claims are not backed by evidence as Deepika Padukone was reportedly dating the famous Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh as the duo starred together for the first movie Ram Leela in 2013 and later Bajirao Mastani in 2015.
Deepika Padukone on meeting Novak Djokovic
The reports have not been claimed by any official source as both Deepika Padukone and Novak Djokovic have not spoken anything about the issue. However, Deepika Padukone once spoke about meeting with Djokovic during an exclusive conversation with India Today.
“I think it’s very exciting to meet people who are champions and are so talented at what they do. I have learnt so much. There’s so much similarity, as far as sport is concerned. I think I have been that person who takes a lot from sport and uses it in everyday life,” set the Bollywood leading actress Deepika Padukone after meeting international level tennis players, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.
