Australia’s star batter Steve Smith wrote about his best spin bowling All-rounders in cricket history on the board in the dressing room. The match between Australia and Pakistan was halted due to the interruption of rain. Steve had just made it to the middle when it rained and destroyed the play. The Boxing Day Test was halted for a bit of time and the players tried to spend their time.

Smith spent his time in the dressing room writing about the best Spin-Bowling All-rounders in the history of cricket. In the fun assessment, Smith was seen writing the names of the best Spin-Bowling all-rounders he knew. The star batter took the suggestion from his fellow team members and came up with a list of 9 players whom many in the room regarded as the best they had seen or played with or against each other.

Many great All-rounders in the past and current times found their names in the list of names prepared by the Australian team. It included some past greats like Garry Sobers, Daniel Vettori, and Richie Benaud. An interesting pick from the panel that caught the attention of the fans was the name of Samit Patel of England, who has not featured in many Test matches.

Three Indians find their place on the list

The list further featured some other All-rounders who are currently playing. It included the Bangladeshi captain Shakib Al Hasan and Australia’s current sensation Travis Head. Both of them played in the ODI World Cup 2023. The decision to include Head was questioned by the fans online, as he is not a proper bowler and more of a part-timer.

Along with it, there were three Indian cricketers on the list. The Indian spin trio of Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel featured in the list of Smith and Co. The three spinners wreaked havoc against Australia in the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 earlier this year. Even outside the home, the duo of Ashwin and Jadeja have been successful. The list of Smith received mixed opinions from the fans.
