Team India gathered at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru a few days ago for an intensive six-day camp ahead of the 2023 Asia Cup. The camp not only focuses on improving the fitness levels of the players, but also serves as an important factor in developing unity among all squad members for a successful campaign in the premier Asian tournament.

Meanwhile, a video of former India captain Virat Kohli sweating hard in the nets as he prepares for the continental event is doing the rounds on social media. Kohli was last seen in action during the West Indies tour, where he featured in the two-match Test series and scored a century in Trinidad. The ace batter is expected to play a huge role in India’s campaign in the upcoming major tournament.

Indian Cricket Board warns Kohli for breaching ‘contract clause’

Kohli recently revealed his yo-yo test score on social media and proved once again that he is one of the fittest athletes in the world.“The happiness of finishing the Yo Yo test between the dreaded cones. 17.2 done,” wrote Kohli on Instagram.

However, the Indian Cricket Board is unhappy with the 34-year-old revealing his score publicly, as players are supposed to keep it confidential. “Players have been informed verbally to avoid posting any confidential matter on social media platforms. They can post pictures while training but posting a score leads to a breach of the contract clause,” said a board official to the Indian Express.
