WATCH: Virat Kohli looks in fine touch in net session ahead of Cape Town Test 2024
Virat Kohli has been practising hard for the second Test against South Africa. The star batter was smashing the bowlers for fun in the net session ahead of the Centurion Test. Virat batted well in the first test despite the failure of other batters in the match. The experienced batter scored 38 runs in the first innings and backed it up with a well-made 76 runs in the second innings.
While Virat was good in the first innings, KL Rahul was the pick of the batters in the first chance. But in the second innings of the match, Virat was the lone warrior for India, as he did his best to revive the match for India with little to no support from the other end. The 35-year-old batted so fluently in the second innings where he took on bowlers in good rhythm.

In the nets, Virat was seen playing against all kinds of bowlers. The star batter faced Siraj, Ashwin, and a left-arm pacer from South Africa in tandem. The way Virat batted would have intimidated anyone. The stylish batter smashed all the bowlers for fun in the nets. It seemed as if Virat was back to his best form. It would not be good news for South Africa.
Virat will be the main wicket for the home side. In the viral video, Virat smashed Siraj straight down the ground. He faced Ashwin the following ball, stepped out of the crease and hit a lofted straight drive over the head of the bowler.
