It was a good gesture from the Asian side to take part in the celebration of the festival by sharing the gifts on their part. The moment was memorable for the players and their families.

The players from Australia were with their families to celebrate Christmas. The players from Pakistan personally went to the family members, friends, and kids of the players to wish them on the festival. It was a lovely gesture as the players and the coaching personnel made an effort to personally gift the players from Australia during the festive season. It surprised the Australian players.

With a day to start for the second Test in Melbourne, Pakistan decided to wish the Australian players on the occasion. The likes of Pat Cummins, Usman Khawaja, Travis Head, David Warner, and other players in the Australian squad were seen receiving the gifts from Pakistan. The family members of these players were gifted from the players of Pakistan, which was so good to see.

Ahead of the 2nd Test in Melbourne, the teams spent some time together outside the competition. It is said that the sport remains so only on the field. The two teams proved the same with their gesture. Pakistan made an effort to join in the celebration of a festival that is not naturally celebrated by them.
