In a display of unbridled enthusiasm, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut captured the essence of her spiritual journey at the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya on Monday. The actress shared a viral video on Instagram, resonating with “Jai Shri Ram” chants, encapsulating the fervour of the moment.
Kangana, adorned in a resplendent cream sari and emeralds, attended the event with her sister, Rangoli Chandel. The accompanying Instagram caption, “Ram aa gaye (Ram has come),” reflected Kangana’s jubilation. Days before the main ceremony, Kangana arrived in Ayodhya, immersing herself in the spiritual ambience.

Participating in a yagya on Sunday, she spent time in the company of revered saints, including spiritual guru Rambhadracharya. Kangana shared moments with Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, also known as Bageshwar Baba, expressing deep regard for him as a brother-like figure. Despite the age difference, she emphasised that a guru is defined by actions, not age, and conveyed her respect by touching his feet.

In anticipation of the consecration ceremony, Kangana expressed her privilege to be part of the occasion. PTI quoted her, saying, “I have come here to meet my Guru Rambhadracharya ji. The energy here is miraculous. It’s my good fortune that I’m getting the opportunity to be part of this ceremony. May Lord Ram bless us. Jai Shri Ram!”
Amid her spiritual endeavours, Kangana embarked on a cleanup drive at the Hanuman Garhi temple. However, she lamented being mobbed, hindering the cleaning efforts. Despite the challenge, Kangana emphasised the importance of maintaining cleanliness at religious sites, stating, “Only building a temple won’t be enough; we must keep these places clean.”
The actress, known for her bold statements and charismatic persona, continues to make headlines not just for her cinematic pursuits but also for her spirited engagement with cultural and spiritual facets. She is likely to make her political debut in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on the tickets of the Ruling Bhartiya Janta Party.
