In a fiery display of excitement, Salman Khan’s fans gathered in large numbers to celebrate the release of ‘Tiger 3’ on Diwali, November 12. The much-anticipated film hit screens across the country in multiple languages. The film earned a staggering Rs 44 crore on its first day at the box office.

The festive fervour, however, took an unexpected turn in Malegaon, Maharashtra, where fans blasted firecrackers inside the cinema hall. Various videos surfaced on social media capturing fans bursting firecrackers inside Mohan Cinema during the screening. The enthusiasm quickly turned chaotic as the display of pyrotechnics led to a sense of urgency among moviegoers, with some seen running to find a haven within the theatre.

Here is the video:

The incident prompted an investigation by local authorities as concerns arose about the safety of the audience and potential damage to the historic Mohan Cinema. The police swiftly registered a case against Mohan Theatre under Section 112 at the Chavani police station. Two individuals were taken into custody in connection with the unauthorised use of firecrackers within the cinema premises.

Fans celebrate superstar Salam Khan’s mass presence

The police investigation aims to determine the circumstances that led to such a display of celebratory fervour and assess any negligence of the cinema management. While fans across the nation celebrated the release of ‘Tiger 3,’ the incident in Malegaon has raised questions about safety protocols during public events, especially in crowded spaces like cinemas.

It’s worth noting that after back-to-back poor films at the box office, mass cinema superstar Salman Khan’s latest release looks to bang on the box office. The shows of his films are currently going houseful throughout India. Single-screen cinemas are seeing an unreal upsurge. Despite being a working day on Monday, it seems Salman’s fever is set to rock on.
