Watch: ‘Dhoni, Dhoni’ chants galore as Sakshi Dhoni visits Cinema hall for LGM first day-first show in Chennai

On 28 July 2023, the movie “LGM: Let’s Get Married” got released in theatres as it was the maiden project of MS Dhoni’s film production venture, Dhoni Entertainment. On 7 June, both MS Dhoni and his wife, Sakshi released the teaser of the movie while they released the trailer and the audio on 10 July. 

Recently, Sakshi visited Chennai’s famous Rohini Silver Screens on the first day first show of the movie. Along with her, the lead actors in the movie, Harish Kalyan and Ivana also visited. So, after they reached there, the audience greeted them with the chant of ‘Dhoni, Dhoni’. Many images and videos went viral also on social media.

“I will have to pay them a packet.” – Sakshi Dhoni

During a recent media interaction in Hyderabad, Sakshi was asked if she is looking to work with Telugu superstars like Prabhas and Pawan Kalyan. In reply to that, she said: “Arey, they have big budgets, big salaries, and packages. I will have to pay them a packet. Right now, I’m just starting off, this is my first. Let me make my ground, let me do my foundation work.”

She also added that her favourite actor is Allu Arjun as she watches all of his films. Sakshi said: “You know I’ve seen all Allu Arjun movies. All of it. But I don’t think that there was Netflix or Hotstar. It was all on YouTube, on Goldmine Productions. They used to put all the Telugu movies in Hindi. So, growing up, I watched all Allu Arjun movies, and I’m a huge huge fan.”

Speaking of Dhoni, he was in action in the IPL 2023 for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He led the team to their fifth title in the history of the competition and after the final, Dhoni also confirmed that he is most likely to play one more year in IPL for his fans. After the tournament, he had a successful knee surgery and currently, he is in rehab.
