WATCH: England pop-singer Dua Lipa answers questions posed by Indian and Kiwi cricket stars

Noted English singer Dua Lipa has a huge fan following in India. The 28-year-old recently sat down with Star Sports India the official broadcaster of the ODI World Cup 2023 which is being held in India.

India and New Zealand are set to play the first semi-finals of the ODI World Cup 2023 on Wednesday. Ahead of the game, cricketers from both India and New Zealand posed questions to the pop queen.

New Zealand and India will play each other for the tenth time in ODI World Cup history. The Kiwis have won five teams and the Indians have four times with their last win coming in Dharamshala by 4 wickets. The last semi-final between the two teams was in 2019 at the Old Trafford stadium in Manchester which India lost by 18 runs.

Cricketers turn fans and ask Dua Lipa questions –

Indian star KL Rahul was the first one to pose questions to Dua Lipa when he asked the singer her favourite number. Dua Lipa replied it was number 22 as it is lucky for her which also is her birth date.

Kane Williamson the New Zealand skipper was up next as he told Dua Lipa how his entire family admired her. The 33-year-old asked what song the singer loves to perform when she is on the stage. Answering this question Dua Lipa named a few of her contemporary hits to which she loves performing during her stage shows.

Indian opener Shubman Gill was next to question the pop sensation. The 24-year-old asked what song Dua Lipa would perform for the opening and closing ceremony of the ongoing event. The famous singer replied “Physical” would be one of the songs for the opening ceremony while One Kiss would be the song for the closing ceremony.

Daryl Mitchell was the last player to ask questions as the Kiwi said how much his two daughters love Dua Lipa’s music. The Kiwi could be seen asking for tips on different dance routines for his two daughters. The singer had a smile on her face and said “Just enjoy yourself” as the video ended.

There is a huge crowd expected with some of the biggest names likely to be in attendance for the big game on Wednesday. Rohit Sharma and Kane Williamson both exuded confidence going into the big game at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
