Bigg Boss 17 has taken an unexpected turn with the emergence of serious questions surrounding the popular contestant and standup comedian Munawar Faruqui. In a surprising twist, Munawar’s rumoured ex-girlfriend and social media influencer Ayesha Khan made an appearance on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode.

The makers have released a promo featuring Ayesha confronting Munawar about allegedly two-timing her with Nazila Sitaishi. Fans are speculating that Ayesha might enter the show as a new wild-card contestant, but only time will reveal the truth.

Watch the video here:

The promo begins with Ayesha saying, “Aap mujhse yeh bol kar aaye the ki aapka breakup ho chuka hai.” Munawar said, “Ji, I’m pretending that I’m dating her.” Ayesha then said, “Jo aapne mujhe cheezein boli thi, voh jhooth thi?” Munawar replied, “Haan, nahi jhooth nahi thi.”

Vo jaisa dikhate hai, vaisa kahi se bhi nahi hai: Ayesha on Munawar

A few days back, Ayesha accused Munawar of dating two girls at the same time and since then she has been in the headlines. However, now she is the controversial show and it’d be interesting to see what happens next. However, recently, she talked about Munawar and said that he is not what he appears to be.

“Bande ke ache artist hone mein, aur ek bande ke ache insaan hone mein bahut bda farak hota hai. I just want people to know ki vo jaisa dikhate hai, vaisa kahi se bhi nahi hai. I don’t know show pe aap keh rahe hai, aap committed hai, to show pe jane se pehle aap mujhe ye keh rahe the ki you know, ‘I love you. Aur aap jaisi ladki se to shaadi karna chahiye.’ To ye sab kuch jhuth tha? Yahi tareeka hai unka har ladki ko approach karne ka. [There’s a big difference between being a good artist and being a good person. He’s not what he appears to be. I don’t know what he’s saying on the show, but before going on the show, he was telling me, ‘I love you. You’re the kind of girl one should marry.’ So, was all that a lie? This is his way of approaching girls].” Ayesha was quoted as saying by NDTV Movies.

Ayesha added, “I want an apology, basically. Aap maafi maang lijiye, mai aapko chedungi bhi nahi. But agar aap uske saath game khelna chahenge aur fir jaise aap jhuth bolne mein to bahut expert hai hi, aur jhuth bolenge, to fir hamare paas to sach pura ka pura pda hai. [Apologise and I won’t bother you. But if you want to play games with him, and if you’re an expert at lying, then I have the whole truth].”

Interestingly, this sequel will debut before its prequel, a bold and unconventional decision by the filmmakers. Arun Kumar explained the reasoning behind this narrative choice in an interview, stating, “The sequel captures a specific night’s events, allowing us to meet the characters first. The prequel will later reveal their deeper backstories.” This storytelling method aims to maintain suspense while delivering impactful drama.

The film boasts an impressive cast, including SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu (in his Tamil debut), Dushara Vijayan, and Siddique. Arun Kumar, known for his nuanced storytelling in Chithha, promises a simple yet gripping narrative for this action thriller.

Adding to the film’s allure is music composer GV Prakash Kumar, reuniting with Vikram for the fourth time after Deiva Thirumagal, Thaandavam, and Thangalaan.
