Pakistan has been facing a lot of issues ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup. The players found it difficult to get an Indian visa for the tournament. Eventually, they got it after some delay in the process. Following the incident, Pakistan got ready to travel to Hyderabad for the ODI World Cup 2023. Ahead of the departure of the team, Pakistan held a press conference, where captain Babar addressed the media.

During the event, a question was asked to Babar whether he would ever sing a song for the fans. Babar hilariously replied, Unhone already itni awaaz nikaal di hai, mai ghabra gaya ki meri awaaz kaha se chali gayi (They’ve already created many versions of my voice, and I was afraid of how my voice has changed),” which led to a funny moment in the event.

Pakistan cricketer Babar Azam has been in the news for the wrong reasons. The Pakistani cricket captain was fined by the traffic police in Lahore for a line violation. Upon enquiring about the same, the traffic police found out that Babar did not have a genuine driving license. For his act, Babar was fined PKR 2000 by the traffic police, which is equivalent to INR 570.

Babar Azam is key for the chances of Pakistan in the ODI World Cup 2023

A few days back, a report emerged, which claimed that not everything was fine in the dressing room of Pakistan. The report suggested that Shaheen Afridi and Babar had a heated conversation with each other, which had to be stopped by Mohammad Rizwan. But Shaheen put an end to claims of rift by claiming Babar to be his family. It gave fans a bit of relief ahead of the big tournament.

Pakistan will be without one of their main bowlers, Naseem Shah, in the tournament. Hasan Ali replaced Naseem in the squad. Following an average tournament in the Asia Cup 2023, Pakistan will be itching to make a comeback in the ODI World Cup 2023. The Pakistani star batter Azam holds the key for Pakistan to succeed in the tournament.
