The movie was directed in Tamil and was critically acclaimed. It was released in 2023 and the fans were highly impressed with the outcome. It is rated 7.6/10 on IMDb and is streaming on Jio Cinema and Amazon Prime Video. 

The movie had a good balance between the professional and private lives of the star spinner. The movie has several details about the journey of the Sri Lankan spinner. From his days as a refugee to winning the 1996 ODI WC, to the allegations on the spinner’s bowling action, there was enough drama in the movie.

Directed by Kabir Khan, the movie had Ranveer Singh in the lead role, who played Kapil Dev on the screen. The movie failed at the box office as it was released in 2021 but was appreciated by the critics. It is rated 7.5/10 on IMDb and is streaming on Disney Plus Hot Star. 

The movie stayed true to the events as much as possible. Ranveer Singh nailed the role of Kapil Dev to perfection on screen. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the movie saw Aamir Khan in the lead role in a fictional story. For its time, it was a pathbreaking movie. It is rated 8.1/10 on IMDb and is streaming on Netflix. 

The plot of the movie was about a village turning rebels against the erstwhile British rule. In order to settle the deal, a challenge gets posted between the villagers and the British contingent. A lot would be put at stake in the cricket match. The drama that unfolds forms the basic plot of the movie. It achieved a nomination in the Academy Awards.
