In the latest episode of Shark Tank India season 3, a pitcher impressed sharks with his amazing marketing skills. The pitcher not only impressed the Sharks but also revealed that former India skipper MS Dhoni is one of his regular customers.
The day starts with a new shark, Azhar Iqubal, co-founder and CEO at Inshorts, joining the others in the tank. The sharks were gearing up for the day when Peyush Bansal revealed that a brand on the show had not returned his invested money. He said, “They have scammed me of my money. Let them come today. They have not returned the money yet.”
However, the pitcher openly addressed the issue, leaving a lasting impression on the sharks. As he entered the tank, he showcased the unique features of his clothing brand, including its stain-resistant quality. Aman Gupta and Azhar Iqubal were visibly impressed, checking out the products with keen interest. The pitcher revealed that their brand featured Intelligent Cotton Tee shirts and other innovative technologies.

Interestingly, the pitcher disclosed that MS Dhoni, the renowned cricketer, was a customer of their brand. This revelation caught the attention of Peyush Bansal, who acknowledged his past experiences of being lured by similar claims. Despite not getting his invested money back, Bansal appreciated the pitcher’s honesty.
Azhar Iqubal makes an interesting deal!
Multiple sharks, including Aman Gupta and Anupam Mittal, made offers to invest in the brand. They asked for royalty with stakes, which was rejected by the pitcher. However, the pitcher ultimately accepted Azhar Iqubal’s offer of Rs 1.2 crore for a 4% equity stake. Sugar’s Vineeta Singh also expressed her desire to make an offer but acknowledged that she couldn’t match Iqubal’s proposal.
As the deal was sealed, Anupam Mittal humorously told the pitcher, “Haath chhodiye, gale miliye,” signifying a warm handshake and embrace. The episode showcased the roller-coaster of emotions that define Shark Tank India, with entrepreneurs navigating challenges and sharks making strategic investment decisions. The inclusion of Azhar Iqubal added a new dynamic to the panel, and the episode left viewers eagerly anticipating more entrepreneurial journeys in the upcoming episodes of Shark Tank India season 3.
