‘Shame on Burglar Bobzy’ – Fans react as Fabian Allen faces theft in Paarl Royals’ team hotel during SA20 2024

A shocking incident has been reported in the ongoing SA20 2024. Fabian Allen has reportedly faced a dangerous theft in the league. As the players of Paarl Royals were in the team hotel in Johannesburg, the incident has been reported. It is being claimed that the 28-year-old was held at gunpoint by the burglar who stole everything the cricketer had.  

The incident has been reported by the West Indies Cricket. The unfortunate incident took place at Sandton Sun Hotel in Johannesburg. It has shaken the confidence of the WI cricketer to the core. The fans have taken on the security in the SA20 league for the unfortunate incident. There has been criticism of the safety of the players. The enquiry regarding the same is taking place. 

West Indies Cricket Board confirmed that their Head coach, Andre Coley who is from Jamaica, managed to get in contact with the All-Rounder. It was claimed that with the help of Obed McCoy, contact was established between Fabian and Coley. It was claimed that Fabian is fine and had not suffered any physical damage.  

Paarl Royals to face Joburg Super Kings in Eliminator

“Our head coach Andre Coley, also hailing from Jamaica, reached out to Fabian. Contact was successfully established through Obed McCoy (another West Indies international). He is fine,” wrote the WICB in their statement. In their statement, the WICB asked Paarl Royals and Cricket South Africa to share further details if they had. 

“CSA (Cricket South Africa) and his team, Paarl Royals, could share more details if there are any,” added the WICB in their statement. However, Paarl Royals shave not reacted anything about the incident and have continued to maintain silence on the incident. It needs to be seen where the case heads as it seems to be a bit serious.  

Paarl Royals are set to face Johannesburg Super Kings in the Eliminator of the SA20 2024. The match is set to take place on the 7th of February on Wednesday. After having a good start to the season, Paarl would be hoping to perform well in the playoffs to try and win their maiden title in the league.
