Ravi Kishan Reflects on Overcoming Casting Couch and Achieving Success in Bollywood
Ravi Kishan, a well-known actor and politician, recalled his struggles with the casting couch in Mumbai. His experiences were shared during an interview about his early days in the film industry.
When asked about men encountering sexual predators, Ravi replied, “When you’re young, fit, but have no money, some people try to take advantage.” He explained that he faced many such attacks in his youth due to his physical appearance.
Ravi also stressed that success has no shortcuts. “Many people who tried shortcuts regretted it,” he said. “They slipped into addiction or worse. Nobody becomes a star through shortcuts.”
He reflected on his journey patiently. He recalled his friends, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn, becoming stars in the ’90s. But Ravi waited for his time, believing that one day, his moment would come.
Ravi Kishan’s recent projects include Singham Again, alongside Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The movie, directed by Rohit Shetty, also stars other big names like Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone.
Additionally, Ravi will reprise his role in Maamla Legal Hai season 2. The show presents a fresh look at the legal profession and stars a diverse group of lawyers. The second season will also feature Naila Grewal and Yashpal Sharma.
