Jacky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh reportedly have a change in plans for their wedding. The couple have been in a relationship for years now and have decided to marry each other to become one for life. They have decided to marry each other in February 2024. But there seems to be a last-minute change in the venue of the wedding.

India’s PM Narendra Modi has recently called for the celebrity couples of royal families to have their wedding in India, rather than overseas. The couple had earlier decided to marry in the Middle East as per the concept of a destination wedding. To align with the call of Modi, the duo has decided to marry in India.

The wedding of the pair is set to conclude on the 21st of February. They will now be marrying each other in Goa. It has been reported that the plans for the wedding have been taking place for more than six months. It is understood that almost everything was set for the couples to marry outside India.

New plans underway for wedding of Bollywood couple

“Rakul and Jacky had initially planned for their wedding to take place in the Middle East. After nearly six months of meticulous planning, everything was pretty much in order,” claimed a report. However, there has been a change in plans since mid-December to align with PM Modi’s call.

As a result, there have been changes in the preparation for the wedding. The destination is also changed. Though there is a huge change in the plan, the couple are still excited about their marriage and a new step in the relationship. Reports claim that the arrangements are being made for the accommodation of the people who visit the marriage in the Western part of India.

Meanwhile, the Bollywood couple are gearing up for their upcoming ventures. While Rakul will be seen in some of the major projects of different languages like ‘Indian 2’ and ‘Ayalaan’, Jackky will feature in movies like ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.’
