In the ongoing calendar year of 2023, Shah Rukh Khan’s three films, Dunki, Jawan, and Pathaan in descending order have been released. The first film of his this year was Pathaan. For the first time in four years, Khan was making his appearance on the big screen. His previous film before Pathaan was Zero, which quite literally tanked in the Box Office.

Meanwhile, for the love of the fans and the nostalgia factor, the fans rallied to support their favorite actor. In September this year, Jawan was released and it had the same fate as Pathaan. Also, the thing that separated both films was the social messaging in Jawan. So much so that different political parties in India started owning the movie. On the other hand, Pathaan was about a RAW agent saving the country from its enemies.

Recently, Dunki was released, director by renowned Rajkumar Hirani. He has given films such as Lage Raho Munna Bhai, 3 Idiots, PK, and many more.

Which film out of Dunki, Pathaan, and Jawan has the most collection on Day One

Talking about Pathaan, it earned 57 crore on Day 1, with 55 crore coming from the Hindi version. The Telugu version fetched 1.5 crore and the Tamil version 50 lakh. In total, the movie 543.09 crore net in India. The movie was made with 225 crore.

Jawan grossed higher than Pathaan with 75 crore on the first day. The Hindi version earned 65.5 crore, the Tamil version 5.5 crore, and the Telugu version 4 crore. The SRK movie, also starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara, eventually earned 640.25 crore net in India. The movie was made with 300 crore.

However, Dunki is not expected to do much in India but overseas, especially in the United Kingdom, where the film is based. As per media reports, Dunki was made with a budget of 120 crore.

Some critics, including Komal Nahata, expect Dunki to do well in the long run even if it doesn’t do phenomenally well in the first few days. Nahata expects the latest SRK movie to run in theatres for at least six or seven weeks and continue to do decent business.
