Keshav Maharaj drops startling comments about Ram Mandir’s ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony

The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the Ram Mandir has been done in Ayodhya and took place on January 22. The entire nation celebrated the grand event entire nation was excitedly awaiting the start of the solemn event, which was attended by prominent figures from the country. According to PTI sources, a 500-state guest list, including politicians, actors, sports celebrities, and entrepreneurs, was been invited to the ceremony.

Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, MS Dhoni, and current Indian cricketers Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, and Ravichandran Ashwin were among those invited, as were Sunil Gavaskar, Sourav Ganguly, Anil Kumble, Virendra Sehwag, and Rahul Dravid. Venkatesh Prasad, who was also in Ayodhya for the ceremony, expressed his satisfaction at being a part of it. Former women’s cricket captain Mithali Raj and current skipper Harmanpreet Kaur will also be present for the historic occasion.

South African spinner Keshav Maharaj had sent his best wishes to India, praying for peace and harmony. The Proteas spinner has expressed a wish to visit the auspicious place in India with his family. Maharaj, who presently leads the Durban Super Giants in SA20, is a devout follower of Lord Ram.

Durban Super Giants are the sister franchise of Lucknow Super Giants, an IPL team. Maharaj said that the Lucknow team could assist him plan a trip to Ayodhya. He stated, “Unfortunately, the schedule didn’t allow me to visit during the inauguration of the temple. But in the future, I would definitely love to go and see the temple in Ayodhya. Fingers crossed. Hopefully in the near future. Maybe the Lucknow franchise..(pause)..my family always wanted to go on pilgrimage to India.”

“My faith in god is very staunch. I always believe that god has given me perspective and guidance and put me in situation where I am today. I am always grateful and give thanks. I am a staunch devotee of Lord Hanuman and Lord Ram. So it’s the least I can do to say thank you and get me in my zone and make me focused through hearing ‘Ram Siya Ram’ play in the background. So I sent the request through to the DJ and I am very fortunate that he could play the song for me when I entered.” he said.
