Shocking news has come out from the Aegis South zone tournament. Hoysala K, the Karnataka cricketer passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest. The fans are shocked to hear the news which has taken the life of the promising cricketer. The match between the two sides went well and Hoysala reportedly had a good outing.

Right after the match between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, Hoysala K was having food in the dressing room. All of a sudden, he fainted and fell off. The cricketers in the dressing room of Karnataka called for medical assistance. As they tested the cricketer, he did not respond. The players then asked the officials to take their teammates to the hospital.

Hoysala was soon rushed to the Bowling Hospital by ambulance. However, by the time he was taken to the hospital, there were no signs of him being alive. The doctors claimed him to be no more. The news has shaken the cricket fraternity. The fans could not believe what they read about the Karnataka cricketer.

Karnataka minister expresses condolences to Hoysala

The teammates of Hoysala have expressed their shock regarding the incident. The family members of the cricketer are in grief. Dinesh Gundu Rao, Karnataka’s Minister of Health and Family Welfare, took to X and expressed his disappointment regarding the incident. He took to X and expressed condolences to the family and friends of the cricketer.

“Saddened to hear about the sudden demise of Karnataka’s emerging cricketer, fast bowler K. Hoysala, during the Aegis South Zone Tournament. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends in this hour of grief,” wrote Gundu Rao about Hoysala’s death in Bengaluru.

Gundu Rao then expressed his concern about the increasing incidents of young people attaining cardiac arrest in recent times. He called for awareness among the common people regarding the same. “Recent incidents of youth succumbing to cardiac arrest underscore the importance of health awareness and the need for us to be vigilant about cardiac health,” added Gundu Rao in his statement.
