Jawan’s shoot in Tamil Nadu & Chennai helps 3000 families with wages!
After months of anticipation, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan movie trailer will finally be available for everyone online later today, August 31. Prior to the release of the trailer, the Bollywood icon travelled to Chennai to attend the Jawan launch party, which honored the movie’s music. At the occasion, art director Muthuraj explained how SRK’s decision to shoot the movie in Chennai rather than the comfort of Mumbai benefited thousands of households in the Tamil Nadu state.
‘Jawan’ by Atlee Kumar, one of the most anticipated films of the year, is getting ready for its international debut on September 7. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, referred to as the “Badshah,” attended a prestigious pre-release event held at Sri Sairam Engineering College in Chennai. Ushering in a period of substantial promotional activity.
Shah Rukh Khan greeted his Chennai supporters with a hearty “Vanakkam” after using Twitter to confirm his appearance. “Chennai, I’m coming!!!” he wrote on Facebook. His post read, “Be prepared, all of the Jawans of Sai Ram Engineering College, both boys and ladies. I am forward to meeting each of you! If asked, might perhaps perform some tha tha thaiya. I’ll see you tomorrow at 3 p.m.”

The third song from the movie, “Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya,” was released in advance of this significant occasion. The passionate “Zinda Banda” and the soulful “Chaleya” were two additional songs that were released after this. The auditorium of Sri Sairam Engineering College in West Tambaram, Chennai, which was chosen for its large seating capacity, was packed with ardent admirers who were all expecting a special opportunity to meet the celebrity.
According to Jawan’s art director T. Muthuraj, Shah Rukh Khan’s choice to have a significant portion of the movie shot in Chennai for over 150 days of the filming schedule helped 3,000 households financially. He applauded SRK for choosing Chennai over Mumbai as the location for his filming instead.
Another touching moment occurred when Kamal Haasan, who had previously collaborated with SRK on the 2000 movie Hey Ram, made an unexpected video call to the entire Jawan team to wish them well. Shah Rukh Khan was praised by Haasan, who said, “The way you’ve conducted your career over the past 30 years with panache and dignity in the face of the worst outrages is commendable.”
The venue had a roaring vibe. Shah Rukh Khan’s friendship with the cast and crew sparked a fan frenzy, especially when he gave co-star Vijay Sethupathi a tender hug and kissed the music director Anirudh Ravichander on the cheek. Shah Rukh Khan, ever the entertainer, performed his signature dancing routines to his song “One Two Three Four” on stage with Priyamani and Sunil Grover.
