Five contenders to coach Liverpool after exit of Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp has announced his resignation from Liverpool by the end of the season. Klopp has confirmed the same with a statement after the recent match with Liverpool. the current manager of Liverpool acknowledged that it would be a surprise for many and added that he could explain the reason behind his move or at least try to explain it to those hurt by the big decision.

“I will leave the club at the end of the season. I can understand that it’s a shock for a lot of people in this moment when you hear it for the first time, but obviously I can explain it – or at least try to explain it,” said Klopp in his statement. Klopp added that he still loves Liverpool as a city, as a club, and the fans and the staff of the club. “I love absolutely everything about this club and this city, our supporters, the team, the staff,” Klopp added.

Klopp confirmed the reason behind his decision. He claimed himself to be running out of energy. Jurgen felt that he knew his time would be up soon. “It is that I am, how can I say it, running out of energy. I have no problem now, obviously, I knew it already for longer that I would have to announce it at one point, but I am absolutely fine now. I know that I cannot do the job again and again and again and again,” added Jurgen in his statement.

With that, Liverpool must be looking for a new manager. Here are the five contenders who can fulfil the role of being the next manager of the English club.

5. Julian Nagelsmann

4. Hansi Flick

Hansi Flick is a renowned manager in Football. recently, he coached the German Football team before being replaced by Julian. Having played for Bayern Munich in the past, Flick was an assistant manager of Germany from 2006 to 2014, a period when Germany was a force to reckon with. Hansi won the Champions League in 2019 with Bayern Munich as a manager. He can be a valuable addition to Liverpool.

3. Zinedine Zidane

Since joining Brighton and Hove Albion, his record has been very impressive, which might be very necessary for Liverpool.

1. Xabi Alonso

The Spanish Football coach has been managing the Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen at the moment. As a former Spanish player, he was very successful.
