The 17th edition of the iconic reality TV show Bigg Boss has finally started. Through the years, this show has captivated the hearts of millions, becoming a household tradition of annual entertainment. The previous season shattered viewership records, dominated social media conversations, and etched unforgettable moments in history.

The current season has welcomed several familiar faces, but one contestant, who boasts an immense fan following, is none other than the popular stand-up comedian, Munawar Faruqui. This talented comedian has already claimed victory on another survival show, ‘Lock Upp,’ hosted by the renowned Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. In the midst of this buzz, former Bigg Boss participant Akanksha Puri recently shared her thoughts about Faruqui, suggesting that he may have already secured a win in the new season.

“Har jagah Munawar Faruqui chhaya hua hai, logon ne already unhe winner declare kar diya. (Munawar Faruqui is trending everywhere, people have already declared him the winner). Akanksha said to the paparazzi.

The format of Bigg Boss and Lock Upp is not the same: Munawar Faruqui

Faruqui recently talked about whether his win in ‘Lock Upp’ would help him in Bigg Boss 17 or not. The standup comedian said that there is a lot of difference between both shows as both have different concepts and it’d be not easy for him.

“It is never the same show. When the contestants are different, the show is different. For example, if you play carrom with one person and then with some other person, it is not the same. You played carrom only but the competition was different every time. So, I don’t think that because the format of Bigg Boss and Lock Upp is the same, it would be easy for me. This will not happen as there will be some tough competitors even in Bigg Boss.

Aishwarya and Abhishek school event

Amid rumors about their relationship, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan attended their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan’s annual day event at Dhirubhai Ambani School on Thursday evening. The couple was joined by Amitabh Bachchan, who came to support his granddaughter.

Aishwarya, dressed in a black suit with a printed dupatta, and Abhishek, casually clad in a hoodie and pants, were seen leaving the venue together with Aaradhya. A clip shared online showed Aaradhya, in her event costume, quickly getting into the car with her mother. Abhishek followed and sat in the front seat while Aishwarya and Aaradhya shared the back seat. As the car departed, Aishwarya was seen lovingly interacting with Aaradhya, holding her face and smiling.

During the event, Abhishek was seen holding Aishwarya’s hand as they entered the school. He also assisted her with her dupatta to ensure she didn’t trip. The couple actively participated, recording Aaradhya’s performance and cheering her on. Abhishek even danced with the students, showcasing his playful side.

The star-studded event was attended by several Bollywood families. Shah Rukh Khan, along with Gauri Khan and their daughter Suhana Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Taimur, Jeh, and Karisma Kapoor, were present to support their children.

The public appearance comes after rumors of tension between Aishwarya and Abhishek surfaced in July. Speculations arose when Aishwarya and Aaradhya attended Anant Ambani’s wedding separately from the rest of the Bachchan family. However, their united presence at Aaradhya’s school event seemingly puts the rumors to rest.

Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s I Want to Talk, which released on November 22. Aishwarya’s latest work was Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2.
