The much-awaited action-thriller Animal is set to hit the theatres on December 1. Starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, the movie has been the talk of the town for months, and the release of the trailer has only heightened the anticipation. The trailer has also increased the excitement of the fans. The movie will be released in five languages, including Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Kanada, and Tamil.

Sharing the screen with Ranbir are powerhouse performers Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol, along with the talented Rashmika Mandanna. While Anil and Bobby have received accolades for their impactful performances, Rashmika’s portrayal in the trailer has stirred a mixed response from the audience.

She has found herself at the centre of criticism. Fans have taken to social media platforms to express their views, with some believing that her performance was marked by overacting. She was brutally trolled for unclear dialogue which was included in the trailer, she said, “I really wish he had died that day,” with an emotional feeling. She gripped her teeth too tight that the dialogue wasn’t as clear as it should’ve been.

Rashmika Mandanna was supposed to speak in a particular way: Sandeep Reddy Vanga

Meanwhile, the director of the movie, Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently talked about Rashmika’s viral dialogue and revealed the reason why the actress gripped her teeth during the scene. The director revealed that Rashmika altered her speech for an emotional scene, emphasising clenched teeth. Its inclusion in the trailer intensified viewer interest, promising a compelling cinematic experience.

“Rashmika Mandanna was supposed to speak in a particular way because it is a very emotional scene. I knew there would be a certain reaction to it. When someone is feeling a certain emotion, then they speak with their teeth clenched. I think keeping it in the trailer has only given it multiple views. When you see it as part of the larger scene in the movie, it will make more sense.” Sandeep was quoted as saying by India.com.
